All the paper submitted to the "Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management-giftjournal" are evaluated by two anonymous referees. There is a quantitative evaluation of the paper on the aspect of relevance, title and abstract, focus on flexibility, innovation, practical consideration, quality of evidence, contribution, methodology, organisation, readability.

The paper with the highest score in the year is awarded the best paper award finalised by the Managing Committee of the Giftjournal. The award consists of cash award of US$500 and complimentary life membership of the GIFT equivalent to US$500.
