VISION MISSION

Evolving as a global forum for interaction of all interested professionals and organizations in a truly flexible mode so as to help them create more options, faster change mechanisms and greater freedom of choice in their own settings.

To evolve and enrich the flexible systems management paradigm for the new millennium.


 
OBJECTIVES:
  • To promote the paradigm of flexible systems management globally, so as to bring in more openness and adaptiveness in the management of industrial, business and governmental activities making them high performing, innovative, and enlightened leading to the evolution of a management paradigm that can support truly global and flexible systems.

  • To take a global view of the management and explore different types of flexibilities needed to be created for global management.

  • To evolve a management paradigm that nurtures human values and ethos, and is equipped to handle issues of chaos and conflict.

  • To organize lectures, workshops, seminars, symposia, conferences, competitions and Management Development Programmes relating to the objectives of the Institute.

  • To publish periodicals, books, journals and magazines; and develop software and educational programmes, video films and training packages relating to the objectives of the Institute.

  • To offer flexible class room/distance learning programmes in various aspects of management that suit the requirement of various levels of professionals to learn Flexible Systems Management at their own pace.

  • To take up research projects at national and international level in the field of Flexible Systems Management and allied areas generating empirical evidence of its utility, and helping to evolve the paradigm further in view of comparative experiences across the globe.

  • To promote professional exchange of information, experience, and advanced training within and among various countries across the globe.

  • To give awards, scholarships, fellowships, and grants to individuals/teams of professionals and organizations in regard to specific projects in various spheres of management exploring flexibility considerations.
