The federal structure of the Institute will also work through various Schools in thrust areas. The thrust areas in which Schools will be created will be decided by the Governing Council, depending upon the contemporary and expected future thrust from time to time. Each School will be autonomous in operation and will be governed by the an Advisory Committee, an Executive Committee, and General Body.

i. Advisory Committee:


It will consist of eminent professionals in the thrust areas as identified by the Executive Council of the School and approved by the Governing Council of the Institute. This Committee will render its advice to the Executive Committee of the School for consideration.

ii. Executive Committee:


The Executive Committee will consist of nine executive members to be elected by the General Body of the Schools and such elected members of Executive Committee in turn will elect among them the following office bearers:
(a) Secretary (b) Treasurer /P>

In addition, the School(s) will also have Director(s) who will be the Director(s) in the Governing Council with respective portfolio and will be appointed by the Governing Council. Such Director(s) will have to be a member of the General Body of the particular/relevant School and be an already elected member of the Governing Council of the Institute. By virtue of being appointed as Director, due to election among Governing Council Members, such Directors shall act as Executive Members and Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the respective School(s) and be equal in all respect to the elected members of the Executive Committees of the Schools.

The Executive members will be elected by the members affiliated to the School. Some Executive Members will be co-opted or nominated by the Governing Council.

iii. General Body:


The General Body of the School will be formed of all the members affiliated with the School and will operate in a similar way as General Body of the Institute.
